The Salvation Army 48th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

November 22, 2018 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Each year, The Salvation Army feeds a complete Thanksgiving meal to approximately 2,000 attendees at Blaisdell Center on O‘ahu. Local hoteliers and restaurants help provide the food and nearly 900 volunteers support the effort. If you are alone, without a home, in need of a hot meal, or simply wish to share in the fellowship of ohana, please join us for a FREE Thanksgiving Dinner. Everyone is welcome!

Thanksgiving Dinner Volunteer Opportunities

Mark your calendar for October 1 MIDNIGHT when our volunteer website opens for our most popular volunteer opportunity -- our Thanksgiving Dinner! Limited spots are available, so be sure to sign up quickly. Like past years, sign-ups will be conducted via our volunteer website. Shifts/positions will open at MIDNIGHT on October 1st (so stay up late or set your alarm for 11:59 p.m. on September 30th). No exceptions for early sign-ups are permitted.

You must have a registered account on our volunteer website. If you do not have an account set up, please sign up now by clicking here. You will need to have your password available when you sign up for Thanksgiving.

Having a volunteer account in our database does not automatically secure you a Thanksgiving spot. Each person or group must sign up for a shift once registration opens.

All volunteers must be 16 years old or older. Volunteers are not permitted to bring children under 16 years old with them in any Volunteer area. Due to health standards, pets are not allowed in the volunteer area.

Individuals: If there are 1 or 2 people volunteering together, EACH must register themselves separately. You can request your friend's name when you register, however they MUST register themselves.

Groups: A group is 3-16 people. No groups are permitted more than 16 people. Please do not register a 2nd group under another email address for the same group/club/business.

Click below to sign up for our Hawaii & Guam Volunteer list to receive reminders and emails regarding Thanksgiving registration! If you have any questions, please contact Amy Takemoto at Amy.Takemoto@usw.salvationarmy.org. Mahalo for your support and for making a difference in our local community this holiday season. We look forward to seeing you there!
