On Tuesday, August 8, a wind-whipped brush fire wreaked havoc in Maui, causing catastrophic devastation to thousands of residents. Homes have been destroyed, and many lack access to necessities, including food.
Our hearts and prayers are with the families and communities in Maui and all those impacted by the Hawaii wildfires. The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Service teams and volunteers have been deployed to affected areas in West Maui, providing spiritual and emotional support and basic needs for those who have lost everything.
